' Seasons, the Heartbeats of Life '

Our life, the scintillating soulful shine
and the symphony of everything
what happens from the moment
one gets born, a music of life indeed
is like an everlasting set of seasons
twinkling, shimmering, gleaming
beginning with the life-giving Spring
of our thunderclap alike youth
through the sunny, glittering Summer
of our fast and furious lives
splendid in living to the best
women, sex, careers, money
adventurous life full of love
shining like a star, the star of love
Then the golden Autumn season
takes its turn over our lives
the season when we settle down
and face family responsibilities
Finally we are cascading imperceptibly
like eternity's river, the river of life
to the mature Winter of our lives
when we, being already grandpas
approach the final heartbeats of life
showered often, sometimes too often
with cold rain, or even frosty snow
turning fast into sculptures of hoarfrost
portraying lots of shiny lucky stars
and whatever other ethereal wonders
loved by our beloved grandchildren
Our full circle of life is achieved
and it's time to say eternal goodbye
without having any second thoughts
for our lives having been marvelous
full of energy, action, bubbles of stars
the stars of love in our circle of life
